Power Management System

Exclusive to Unique Lighting Systems, the Power Management System was designed to overcome some of the most common hurdles contractors experience in landscape lighting. The Power Management System eliminates problems such as voltage drop, fuse corrosion and the inability to easily move fixtures, leaving the homeowner unable to continue to have a dynamic lighting portrait as the landscape grows and changes.

The Power Management System is available in original 12-volt line and the Intelli-System, a 24-volt line of transformers and fixtures, and is made up of three major components:

• Multi-Matic Transformers
• Hub and Intelli-Hub Wiring Methods
• Fixtures, all available standard with 25' wire leads
  

Multi-Matic Transformers

Unique Lighting Systems' Multi-Matic transformers compensate for voltage drop by allowing selections from up to eight different voltage taps. This allows you to customize the voltage for each individual run. It's like having eight different transformers in one. Multi-Matic transformers are available in the following configurations:

• Multi-Matic (Multi-Tap): 12- and 24-volt Multi-Tap
• Aquatic (Pool and Spa): 12- and 24-volt Multi-Tap
• I-Force (Inverted): 12- and 24-volt Multi-Tap
• Subterranean (Direct Burial): 12- and 24-volt Multi-Tap

Hub and Intelli-Hub Wiring Methods

The Hub and Intelli-Hub methods are wiring concepts that ensure proper voltage distribution to the fixtures. Unique Lighting Systems provides the connection and containment devices that enable you to easily connect your home run wire to your fixture wires, while keeping all connections out of the dirt. Below are the types of hubs currently available:

• Equalizer Hub (ABS cap, sleeve and 2 lug nuts)
• Satellite Hub (plastic composite box with lid, inline fuse holder, 1-10 amp fuse, 1-20 amp fuse and 3 lug nuts)
• Galaxy Hub (oversized ABS housing and lid, inline fuse holder, 5 inline fuses and 3 lug nuts)
• Intelli-Hub (oversized ABS housing and lid, inline fuse holder, 1-10 amp fuse, 1-15 amp fuse and 1-20 amp fuse)

Fixtures with 25' Wire Leads

All Unique Lighting Systems fixtures come standard with a 25' wire lead. These connections are made at the factory, eliminating the need for contractors to make them on the job.

• The leads are constructed with a high-quality copper wire. Copper is of the highest/purest possible quality and conforms to UL requirements.
  
• The insulation material is the highest quality virgin PVC. No re-ground resin is used. This gives the wire flexibility that facilitates installation in tight spaces and in the trenches without curling or showing memory.
• Sequential numbering on the cables separate cleanly when pulled apart with your fingers, without showing copper and with the insulation of each conductor conforming to UL minimum wall thickness for waterproofing.
• Rated for direct burial and sunlight resistant. Can be installed above or below ground.
